SieF Ventures
Qualifying as a publisher company, the fourteen-part domain operating dossier, independence, and publishing a framework.
What a SieF Venture is
An independent company that owns, builds, commercialises and supports a domain-specific framework. Ownership and accountability are what distinguish it from a developer who writes a module: a venture answers for the whole framework business.
Two competencies, both required
Domain architecture. People who understand how the profession is actually organised: its roles, qualifications, supervision, procedures, decisions, exceptions, legal responsibilities and quality controls.
SieF technology architecture. Engineers who can implement the four extensions against the SDK contracts without touching the shared core.
A venture may employ both or contract one, with documented agreements.
The fourteen-part domain operating dossier
- How the service organisation is established, governed, funded, priced and contracted.
- Hierarchy, roles, authorisation, reporting and supervision.
- Required qualifications, licences, experience and continuing learning.
- Every material duty, task, work product, record and internal control.
- How skills are acquired, taught, supervised, measured and maintained.
- How roles communicate, delegate, escalate and approve.
- End-to-end procedures for every advertised service, including intake and closeout.
- Required knowledge, documents, software, equipment, records and external systems.
- Deterministic decisions against contextual judgement and professional exceptions.
- Quality standards, audit evidence, error correction, incident response, recovery.
- Human and licensing boundaries, statutory sign-off, government interaction.
- Confidentiality, client consent, conflicts of interest, regulated data duties.
- Commercial delivery, onboarding, billing, care, renewal and termination.
- Known unsupported cases, dependencies, risks, and the roadmap to widen coverage.
Each material task maps to the four extension artefacts, with the provenance of every source and the approvals, tests and accountable roles named.
The lifecycle
Discover demand, validate the scope, assemble the team, form the venture, build the dossier, feed it through the adapters, implement and test the four extensions, pass review, deploy a paid pilot, validate the outcomes, then expand on evidence.
Claims
"The whole domain is modelled" and "the whole operation runs autonomously" are different statements with different evidence. A venture should publish four quantities separately: domain scope mapped, validated deterministic coverage, permitted AI-assisted coverage, and work that stays with people.
