Commercial and Distribution Systems
Accounts, partner rights, selling, billing, settlement and reporting: the commercial plumbing under every licence.
In development
What it enables
- A recorded commercial path for a sale, whether it starts with Lanvex, a publisher or a country partner.
- Publisher statements and channel settlement built on actual transactions rather than estimates.
- Partner onboarding with rights that follow a signed contract.
Who it serves
- Publishers earning from their own frameworks.
- Distributors, Technical Sellers, Sellers and Affiliates, whose roles differ and whose terms differ with them.
- Customers, who need an invoice, a licence and a named party responsible for support.
Scope and boundaries
- On eligible partner framework sales the split is 80 per cent to the publisher and 20 per cent to Lanvex, before taxes, fees and any channel band, and subject to contract.
- This system records a commercial event. It is not telemetry, and it does not watch a customer’s operations.
- Country entry levels are an entry relationship, not the downstream selling roles. A fee is not exclusivity, and exclusivity survives only while its targets are met.
- This records authorised commercial events, not customer activity. It is a settlement system, not surveillance.
In practice
- A publisher registers a customer they found themselves; the sale still issues through the approved licence path, and the publisher keeps the relationship.
- A distributor registers an opportunity, and settlement reflects the agreed channel band.
- A refund is processed and the statement reflects it, both sides seeing the same ledger.
Where we are
In development, in step with the Store it settles for.
Questions
- Does Lanvex take a share of an independent publisher’s company?
- No. The marketplace share is a share of eligible sales, not of the company or its intellectual property.
